Emma Stuart is a composer, producer, pianist, vocalist, and occasional mallet percussionist from the California Bay Area. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Music Composition at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a double minor in Game and Interactive Media Scoring and Film Scoring. She studied classical piano for over ten years under the mentorship of composer-pianist Gregory Taboloff. During her time at the Boston Conservatory, she has studied composition with Michael Gilbertson and Dan VanHassel.

Her works draw inspiration from a wide range of genres, spanning from contemporary classical to hardcore EDM, and she happily amalgamates these genres together in her compositions. To her continued incredulity, her work has been described as uniquely humorous and playfully subversive. Recent works include Planet of the Cows for percussion quartet and moo can, Whalebird for the Boston Conservatory Wind Ensemble, and the score for the award-winning documentary The Confidantes, directed by Robin Chen.

Additionally, Emma is a board member of both the Berklee Film Scoring Network and the Berklee Video Game Music Club, and sings with the Audire Soundtrack Choir. Emma hopes to one day visit every island of Hawaii and watch Jeopardy! as a live studio audience member.
